Milton Fisher

This Darmstadt indie-guitar-folk-punk legends existed from 1989 till 2002. From the folk punk of the early years, their style developed in the direction of indie pop with brass.

December 2025: From Lo-Fi to Disco! release an almost lost recording by Milton Fisher. In 2001, Milton Fisher recorded twelve songs for a new album. The following year, the band disbanded, and the record was never released. These recordings have been waiting to be discovered ever since, known as a "Lost Album." Eight original compositions and four quirky cover versions were produced together with Lolo Blümler. The "Lost Album" offers a colorful bouquet of indie rock and indie pop.

Europapokal is a song about their favourite football club SV Darmstadt 98. The song was written by singer Marc Herbert in 1999 and was recorded in the same year. At this time Darmstadt 98 actually played in the 4th Division (Oberliga Hessen). The song has become a fans favourite and is regularly played at Boellenfalltor Stadium. The band line-up for the recording was Marc Herbert, Schorsch Ihrig, Gregor Preis and Ralf Silber. Singer Marc Herbert then formed the band Woog Riots.

Die Darmstaedter Band Milton Fisher wurde 1989 gegruendet und existierte bis ins Jahr 2002. Der Sound war eine Mischung aus Indiepop, Ska und Folk-Punk mit Blaesern. Europapokal ist ein Song über ihren Lieblingsfußballverein SV Darmstadt 98. Saenger Marc Herbert schrieb den Song 1999. Im gleichen Jahr wurde das Stück von der Band Milton Fisher aufgenommen. Damals spielte der SV Darmstadt 98 aktuell in der Oberliga Hessen (4. Liga). Der Song wurde zu einem Fan-Favoriten und wird bis heute im Stadion am Boellenfalltor gespielt. Zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme bestand die Band aus Marc Herbert, Schorsch Ihrig, Gregor Preis und Ralf Silber. Marc Herbert spielt heute bei Woog Riots.
